Inspo Order
QR-code ordering and payment for cafés and restaurants, used in the phone's browser. The counter keeps working when the connection drops, and cash and digital takings reconcile at close.
Inspo Studio
Twenty homepage designs, each opening with a 12-second film. The customer picks one, and we build it and take it live.
This website
Runs in English, Japanese and Filipino. After every release, a check confirms that production really is running the new version.
Notes on how we build
- October 8, 2026“Today” belonged to the store, not to the serverAt a store that opens at 6:30 in the morning, the first 90 minutes of sales were landing on the previous day. Every amount was right; the only thing wrong was which day they belonged to.
- October 1, 2026A button that cannot be pressed looks exactly like a broken oneIn 3 weeks we were sent 14 messages saying returns were broken. The button was doing exactly what it had been told, and it just stopped without saying so. When I grayed it out, the messages increased.
- November 3, 2026A finished site, not a templateWe opened Inspo Studio: twenty homepage designs, each opening with a 12-second film. Pick one and we build it and take it live. Here are the mistakes we made along the way at our office in Manila.
